Cottage Blanket Chest Overview
The Cottage Blanket Chest is made from Northern White Cedar logs that are hand peeled to accentuate their natural character and beauty. The hand peeling process accentuates their natural character and beauty by sometimes leaving strips of the inner bark membrane on the logs. The inner bark membrane that is left on the logs in spots adds a darker color to the otherwise whitish logs. This chest has non-slamming hinges and has Aromatic cedar on the underside of the lid. Individually hand crafted. This blanket chest has the option for a darker vintage stain with a clear coat catalyzed lacquer finish for lasting durability as well as the traditional clear finish.
