The Cottage Hickory Blanket Chest has non-slamming hinges and is individually hand crafted. Available finishes for the hickory chest are Traditional (clear finish), Rustic Alder, Rustic Maple and Espresso. All finishes are sealed with the clear-coat lacquer for extra durability.
